Short answers before the first review

Last reviewed: May 9, 2026. This FAQ is a general English guide only. Actual scope, timing, and requirements still depend on document review and the current business situation.

How long does company setup in Thailand usually take?

Timing depends on readiness of names, shareholder and director details, address information, and any extra licensing questions. It is better to prepare documents first and discuss timing after the business facts are clear, rather than promise a fixed registration window too early.

What documents should we prepare before the first conversation?

A short business description, ownership structure, director details, address information, tax status, and an estimate of monthly documents are enough for the first review. If the company already exists, bring any current registration records, tax ID details, and recent accounting documents.

When do we need to think about VAT?

VAT questions usually start with the business model, expected revenue, transaction type, and whether the company is already registered or considering registration. The practical answer should come from the actual operating facts, not from a generic assumption.

Can accounting support start remotely?

Yes. English-friendly remote onboarding can start with an online discussion, a document checklist, and sample files. Once the workflow is clearer, the team can confirm what should be sent monthly and whether any on-site support is needed.

What if our accounting or tax records already have a backlog?

That is common. The first step is usually to understand how far the backlog goes, what documents exist, and whether there are urgent filing issues. From there, the team can suggest whether to prioritize cleanup, monthly workflow, or a focused tax review first.

Can A Plus Me advise foreign founders directly?

A Plus Me can explain accounting, tax, reporting, and document workflow in English. If a question moves into legal or licensing territory, the team can flag that boundary clearly so the next step is not confused with accounting support.

Need a more specific answer for your situation?

Send your business stage, service interest, and VAT status. The team can review the context before suggesting the next step.
